Upgrade Information

From the Manager: We are upgrading our core processing system on February 1, 2022. This project is a major undertaking for our staff and technology partners as it affects all aspects of our operations. In addition to our core processing system, which is the technology used for transaction processing and maintains our shares and loans, we are also upgrading our online banking, mobile app, statements, and bill pay.

We know this is an inconvenience for our members but hope you will be patient as we work through this process. Our staff are excited to upgrade our core as it will provide greater functionality for members, additional products and services, as well as streamline daily processing.

Once complete, members will enjoy advances in our technology products, quicker processing times, and more self-serve options.

SOME OF THE new features INCLUDE:

Remote Deposit Capture.

We’re bringing Telephone Banking back!

Report debit cards lost/stolen via the mobile app.

Set eAlerts for account balance, transactions, deposits, etc.

Open additional account types online.

Reset your user name and password without calling the CU.

Apply for a loan without providing us information we already have on our system.

Create auto transfers and ACH transfers within online banking or the mobile app.

Improved statements and receipts.

Add messages to your account transfers. “Jump” to other accounts you are joint on without logging out of your primary account.

We will be closed for several days to allow us to complete the upgrade process. During this time, you will not have access to our online services and will be subject to lower debit card limits. However, we will work as quickly as possible to bring these services online as soon as the process is complete. We’ve designed an upgrade guide as a roadmap for a smooth transition to our new services. We are also providing additional phone support for the weeks following the conversion by partnering with our new provider’s call center.

These calls will be answered by Michigan-based, experienced staff who can assist with any questions you may have.

We are excited to bring these changes to our members, providing state-of-the art systems with stable functionality is always our goal.

While change is always hard, rest assured our staff will work hard to make sure the issues are minimized and our systems are aligned with member expectations.

Schedule

We will need to close to allow us to complete the upgrade process. During this time you will not have access to our online services and will be subject to lower debit card limits. However, we will work as quickly as possible to bring these services online as soon as the process is complete. The Credit Union will be closed on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 and Wednesday, February 2, 2022.

Statements and eStatements

Statements and eStatements will have an updated design making transaction details easier to read. Due to the system upgrade, ALL members regardless of statement selection will receive a paper statement containing January activity. These statements will be mailed to the current address we have on file. If you are enrolled in eStatements and have not already done so, please download or print at least 12 months of your eStatements as you will no longer have access to this history after January 31, 2022.

Call Center

During the two weeks post-upgrade we will have a call center dedicated to serving your phone call needs, answering your questions, and helping you get set up with our new online banking service.

It’s Me 247

You will notice a new online banking platform as a result of our computer system upgrade. As such, you will need to re-enroll in this service when you access it for the first time. If you have previously bookmarked an old login page, you will need to update your bookmark.

Mobile Banking

The mobile banking app will not be available for 3-5 days after the upgrade. You will need to delete the current app and download the new app when it becomes available. We will notify you via email, our website, and our Facebook page when the new app becomes available for download.

Online Bill Payment

You will notice a new online bill payment platform as a result of our computer system upgrade. As such, you will need to re-enroll and re-establish payees. You will not be able to schedule any bill payments to be paid after Monday, January 31, 2022. All future and re-occurring bill payments must be re-established in the new platform. Credit Union staff will be on hand to help you re-establish payees in the new platform.
